Collectrix ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Local Data (Stored on Your Device Only)

The following data is stored exclusively on your device using SQLite database:

• Collection Information: Names, descriptions, values, and custom fields you create
• Photos: Images of your collection items stored in your device's local storage
• App Settings: Your preferences for theme, language, and other settings

2.2 Photos & Camera Access

We request access to your photos and camera for the following purposes:

• Camera: To let you take photos of your collection items
• Photo Library: To let you select existing photos for your items

Important: Photos are stored only on your device. We do not upload, sync, or access your photos remotely.

2.3 Subscription Data (RevenueCat)

When you purchase a Premium subscription, we use RevenueCat to process and manage subscriptions:

• Data Collected: Anonymous user ID, purchase history, subscription status, device type
• Purpose: To validate subscriptions and prevent fraud
• Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment information.

3. Data We DO NOT Collect

• ❌ Name, email, or phone number
• ❌ Location data
• ❌ Browsing history or app usage analytics
• ❌ Advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID)
• ❌ Device contacts or calendars
• ❌ Biometric data

4. How We Use Your Data

• Local Data: Used solely to provide app functionality. Never leaves your device.
• Subscription Data: Used by RevenueCat to validate Premium features and manage subscriptions.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services:

• RevenueCat: Receives anonymous subscription data to manage Premium subscriptions. They are GDPR and CCPA compliant.
• Apple/Google: Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their privacy policies.

6. Data Security

Your data security is important to us:

• All data is stored in encrypted SQLite database on your device
• We do not operate backend servers that could be hacked
• Photos are stored in your device's secure file system

7. Data Retention & Deletion

7.1 Local Data

• Data is retained as long as you keep the app installed
• Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data
• You can also delete data from Settings → Data Management → "Delete All Data"

7.2 Subscription Data

RevenueCat retains subscription data as long as your subscription is active. To request deletion:

• Email us at contact@collectrix.app
• Include your user ID (found in Settings → About)
• We will forward your request to RevenueCat within 48 hours

8. Your Privacy Rights

8.1 GDPR (European Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: View all data we hold (app provides full access to local data)
• Right to Deletion: Delete all data by uninstalling the app
• Right to Export: Export your data via Settings → Export Data
• Right to Object: You can refuse photo access (but photo features won't work)

8.2 CCPA (California Users)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected
• Delete personal information
• Opt-out of sale of personal information (we don't sell data)

9. Children's Privacy

Collectrix is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Age Requirement: 13+ years (or 16+ in EU with parental consent)

10. International Data Transfers

• Your collection data does not leave your device (no international transfer)
• RevenueCat may process subscription data in the United States (GDPR compliant)

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through:

• In-app notification
• Update to "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13.1 Do Not Track (DNT)

We do not track users, so Do Not Track settings do not apply to our app.

13.3 Data Breach Notification

Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is no server-side data breach risk. If your device is lost or stolen, we recommend using your device's built-in security features (passcode, biometric lock) to protect your data.
