Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Collectrix mobile application ("Service") operated by Collectrix ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Collectrix is a mobile application for managing and organizing personal collections. The Service provides:

Local storage of collection data on your device
Photo attachment and management
Custom field creation
Search functionality
Data export and import features

      Important: Collectrix stores all data locally on your device. We do not provide cloud storage or backup services. You are responsible for backing up your own data.
    

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Data Backup

You are solely responsible for:

Backing up your device
Exporting your data regularly
Maintaining copies of important collection information

3.2 Content

You are responsible for the content you create and store in the Service. You must ensure that:

You own or have the right to use all content
Your content does not infringe on others' intellectual property
Your content complies with applicable laws

3.3 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the app
Circumvent any security features
Distribute malware or harmful code through the Service

4. Premium Subscription

4.1 Subscription Terms

Premium subscriptions are available through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

Payment: Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID or Google account
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice
Free Trials: Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before trial ends

4.2 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device's subscription settings:

iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Premium features until then.

4.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies:

Apple: support.apple.com/billing
Google: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

      IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY

      THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
Your data will not be lost or corrupted

You use the Service at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
Device damage or malfunction
Third-party claims

Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Premium subscription (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the Service
Create derivative works
Remove any copyright notices

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

Violation of these Terms
Illegal activity
Any other reason we deem appropriate

You may terminate your use by uninstalling the app. Your local data will be deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We will notify you of significant changes through:

In-app notification
Update to the "Last Updated" date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

Negotiation: We will attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation
Arbitration: If negotiation fails, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
