How do I create my first vault?

Creating a vault is easy:

  1. Tap the + button on the main screen
  2. Choose "Create Vault"
  3. Enter a vault name (e.g., "Books", "Coins", "Toys")
  4. Select field types for your collection (name, description, value, etc.)
  5. Tap "Save"

Your vault is now ready to use!

Where is my data stored?

All your collection data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database.

Important:

  • We do NOT sync your data to any cloud servers
  • We cannot access your data remotely
  • Your data is 100% private and stays on your device

If you want to backup your data, use the Export feature (Settings → Data Management → Export).

How do I delete my data?

You can delete all data in two ways:

Method 1: In-App Deletion

  1. Open Collectrix
  2. Go to Settings → Data Management
  3. Tap "Delete All Data"
  4. Confirm the action

Method 2: Uninstall the App

Simply uninstall Collectrix from your device. All data will be permanently deleted.

Note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep a backup.

How do I manage my Premium subscription?

For iOS (App Store):

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find "Collectrix" and tap it
  5. Here you can cancel, renew, or change your plan

For Android (Google Play):

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon → "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions"
  3. Find "Collectrix" and tap it
  4. Manage your subscription from there

Note: Canceling your subscription will not delete your local data. You can continue using the app with Free features.

Can I export and import my data?

Yes! Collectrix supports data export and import.

To Export:

  1. Go to Settings → Data Management
  2. Tap "Export Data"
  3. Choose where to save the file (e.g., Files app, iCloud Drive)
  4. A JSON file will be created with all your data

To Import:

  1. Go to Settings → Data Management
  2. Tap "Import Data"
  3. Select the JSON file you previously exported
  4. Confirm the import

Note: Importing will merge with existing data. If you want a clean import, delete all data first.

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

Free Version:

  • Up to 5 vaults
  • total 50 items
  • Basic search
  • Photo support

Premium Version:

  • Unlimited vaults
  • Unlimited items per vault
  • Advanced search filters
  • Custom themes (ongoing)
  • Priority support
  • No ads (we don't have ads anyway!)

Pricing: Check the app for current pricing in your region.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are processed by Apple or Google, not by us directly.

For iOS (App Store):

  1. Visit support.apple.com/billing
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find the Collectrix purchase
  4. Tap "Report a Problem" → "Request a refund"

For Android (Google Play):

  1. Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
  2. Find Collectrix
  3. Tap "Request a refund"

Refund Policy: Apple and Google decide refund eligibility based on their policies. Typically, refunds are available within 48 hours of purchase.

Does Collectrix work offline?

Yes! Collectrix works 100% offline.

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you don't need an internet connection to:

  • View your collections
  • Add new items
  • Edit existing items
  • Search your collections
  • Take photos

You only need internet for:

  • Purchasing Premium subscription
  • Restoring previous purchases
Can I use Collectrix on multiple devices?

Yes, but with limitations:

Your Premium subscription works across all your devices (iOS/Android) using the same Apple ID or Google account.

However:

  • Data is not automatically synced between devices
  • You need to manually export from one device and import to another
  • Each device maintains its own local database

Why no cloud sync?

We prioritize your privacy. Cloud sync would require us to store your data on servers, which we deliberately avoid.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

  • App version (found in Settings → About)
